Privacy is important to Gold Rush Wrestling. Making sure that you know how we collect, use, share, and secure information on this website is also important to us.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We collect both personal and non-personal information from you. When we use the phrase "personal information" we mean information that is associated with your name.
HOW INFORMATION IS COLLECTED
By Asking: On our site, we may ask you to give us information. If you want to sign up for our mailing list, we will ask for your e-mail, mobile number, or mailing address. If you sign up for surveys, we will ask for information like your first and last name, e-mail address, and phone and mobile number. If you compete in our contests, we’ll ask you for your name, phone and mobile number, e-mail address, street address, birthday, along with pictures of you. We also collect the e-mail addresses of people who e-mail us, and we collect customer information when we process a sale, like your name, credit or debit card information, phone and mobile number, mailing address, e-mail address, and billing address.
Social Media: If you use Facebook, Twitter, or another social media site to sign up for one of our promotions, we may collect the information that you submit through Facebook or the other site. When you "like" us on Facebook or other social media sites, we will also collect your information from Facebook, such as your name and e-mail address. Remember that if you submit information through Facebook or similar sites, your information is governed by their privacy policies and information you share might be seen by the general public.
Text Messages: If you agree to receive text messages from Gold Rush Wrestling, we may use an automatic telephone dialing system to contact you. You are not required to consent to receive text messages in order to obtain products or services from Gold Rush Wrestling. Standard messaging rates apply. We, or our partners, may send text messages to your mobile device. If you would like to stop receiving text messages at any time, please contact Chase@goldrushwrestling.com or reply STOP to a text message received from Gold Rush Wrestling. We may send you an additional confirmatory message to let you know that we’ve received your request.
Cookies: Each time you visit our website, our web server automatically recognizes your domain name and what type of browser you are using, by using "cookies," which are small text files on your computer that identify you as a unique user. These help us measure your activity and personalize and improve your experience at Gold Rush Wrestling. If you don’t want us to use cookies, you can set your browser to delete them, or you can manually delete the cookies. If you do this, you might have trouble accessing and using some of Gold Rush Wrestling’s web site pages.

When you provide us with your name, e-mail address, and street address, we may add your information to our mailing list, and we may send you e-mails and mailings announcing product information, promotional events, or updates to our Web site. If you give us your birth date, we may also send you a special gift on your birthday by e-mail or postal mail. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Children/Minors: We collect children’s Personal Information from adults (parents). Our website, and any products and/or services offered therein, are intended for use by adults (parents) and is not to be acquired by children directly. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently received personal information from a child under the age of 13, we will delete such information from our records. If you believe information was inadvertently collected from a minor, please notify us immediately at Chase@goldrushwrestling.com and Gold Rush Wrestling will immediately take the appropriate action. For activities that necessitate the use of personal information from children under the age of 13, Gold Rush Wrestling will notify the respective parent of our privacy policy and obtain verifiable parental consent before collecting personal information in compliance with the Federal Trade Commission’s Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act
Do Not Track Signals: Some web browsers and devices permit you to broadcast a preference that you not be "tracked" online. At this time, we do not modify your experience based upon whether such a signal is broadcast.
Changes to the Privacy Policy: We reserve the right to modify or change this policy at any time by posting the revised privacy policy on our website. Material changes will only affect the information we collect after the effective date of the change to our privacy policy unless we clearly express otherwise.
Linking and Third-Party Sites: Please note that we are not responsible for the content or the privacy policies of websites to which our Site may link. Payment Processors: We currently use payment processors as a Third Party Offering for internet-based payment services. If you wish to make a payment through Gold Rush Wrestling, your Personal Information may be collected by such third parties directly and not by us, and will be subject to the third party’s privacy policy. We have no control over, and are not responsible for, third parties’ collection, use and disclosure of your Personal Information.
Where a third-party payment processor is utilized as a sub-processor, we have implemented appropriate onward transfer safeguards over your Personal Information. Gold Rush Wrestling currently utilizes a third-party sub-processor for payment processing. USE OF IMAGE AND LIKENESS POLICY
From time to time, Gold Rush Wrestling may take photographs or video at its events and classes – including but not limited to instructional classes, competitions, informational meetings, and award ceremonies.
YOUR CONSENT AND WAIVER
We assume your attendance indicates your consent to having your image and/or voice, and/or the image and/or voice of your child participating in these classes and events, used in the future. “Image or Likeness” is defined as any photos and/or video or audio recordings or you or your child. You are consenting to a waiver of all rights or privileges to your images and/or likeness for Gold Rush Wrestling’s usage. This includes receiving any form of compensation or benefit for the use of you or your child’s voice, likeness, or image as defined above. These items may or may not have captions identifying you or your child by name.
HOW WE USE IMAGES AND LIKENESS
Marketing and/or promotional materials: These materials may include but are not limited to publications, website content, promotional pieces, handouts, and online posts and publications the staff and instructors believe will benefit Gold Rush Wrestling.
Social Media and/or Online Communities: Gold Rush Wrestling strives to maintain an active online presence via social media and/or other online communities related, but not limited to, wrestling, youth athletics, and health and wellness. This includes but is not limited to posts on social media, (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and other social media websites), and/or other online communities to promote or display our activities and/or products and services offered at Gold Rush Wrestling.
Instructional Materials: These materials include but are not limited to photos and/or video recordings presented, displayed, or sold for teaching and instructional purposes.
DISCLOUSURE
Gold Rush Wrestling is in no way responsible for the copy and usage by third parties of the images and likenesses used or posted by Gold Rush Wrestling. Any use of these images or likenesses by third parties is done so without the consent of Gold Rush Wrestling and is a direct violation of Gold Rush Wrestling’s policies and procedures.
OPT-OUT
If you wish to opt-out of the use of your or your child’s image, voice, and/or name, please notify Gold Rush Wrestling in writing or by email at Chase@goldrushwrestling.com within one week after the start of your child’s first class. After the first week of class, the Gold Rush Wrestling will consider any non-responding attendees to have consented to the use of your and/or your child’s image and likeness.
